Stick to the basics
If there’s one thing I can recommend to you and your business it’s to stick to the basics and develop the right process for you/your team on collecting money owed to you. It’s a new quarter and that means most of you are closing the books right now (or should be) for your businesses.
There will be signs of either strong AR positioning or I’m guessing some of you are sweating a bit that the quarter didn’t go as planned and now you’re scrambling. Or you aren’t hearing from those customers who owe you large balances….that’s a concern and needs looked into asap!
Take a breath, step back, and let’s evaluate. We’re only halfway through the year so that means we have some time to meet those year-end goals still. Just don’t wait until the end of Q4 to figure out the game plan!

Define a process for your team to follow on how to approach collecting money for your business. I’ve dropped some videos out on YT and have wrote many newsletters on this topic. Can you guess why?
If you aren’t collecting cash timely, that’s a direct cost to your business. No way around that or no way to argue it isn’t. If I was in a position where I was being paid late I would be ALL OVER those customers to make sure that was collected as soon as possible.
