Products Aren't Shipping...
Inventory is cash sitting on your shelves. If it’s not moving, it’s tying up resources that could be used elsewhere. In Q4, run a quick analysis: which products move fastest, and which have been sitting untouched for the last month or two…or more? Push to liquidate slow-moving items…discount them, bundle them, or market them aggressively. Freeing up even a small percentage of stuck inventory can release significant cash.
The benefits are twofold here… you improve liquidity now and reduce carrying costs heading into 2026. This is especially critical for product-based businesses where end-of-year stock adjustments can distort cash flow.
Tomorrow, we’ll review how to manage debt strategically in Q4 so interest costs don’t eat into your year-end performance.
